Introducing Achievements & Badges

We’re excited to introduce Achievements & Badges, a new gamification system designed to make learning on Teachfloor more interactive, rewarding, and engaging.

Learners can now unlock badges based on actions, milestones, participation, and course progress — transforming everyday learning activity into visible achievements that encourage consistency and motivation.

From completing courses to contributing in the community, Teachfloor now helps organizations recognize participation directly inside the learning experience.

What Are Achievements & Badges

Achievements are visual badges automatically unlocked when learners complete specific actions inside Teachfloor.

Organizations can reward learners for activities such as:

• Uploading a profile photo
• Completing a bio
• Connecting social links
• Joining multiple courses
• Completing lessons, modules, or entire courses
• Maintaining login streaks
• Posting or commenting in the community
• Completing activities quickly after enrollment
• Reaching participation milestones

The system includes a wide variety of predefined achievements covering onboarding, engagement, consistency, collaboration, and course completion.

Visible Directly on Member Profiles

Unlocked achievements appear directly inside the learner’s public member profile.

Organizations can choose:

• Where the achievements card appears on the profile
• Whether it appears in the side section or main content area
• How many badges are displayed at once

This makes learner progress and participation visible across the organization while giving profiles a more dynamic and personalized experience.

Learners can click on badges to view:

• Badge title
• Description
• Unlock date
• Point value
• Achievement status

A dedicated achievements modal also allows users to browse all available badges, including locked and unlocked milestones.

This creates a stronger sense of progression and encourages learners to continue participating across courses and community spaces.

This creates a more social and personalized learning environment where learner identity, participation, and progress become part of the experience.
