Introducing Idea Board: Let Your Community Upvote Ideas

idea upvote

We're excited to introduce Idea Board, a new app that lets your community post ideas and upvote the ones they want most, Product Hunt style. Anyone can vote, you choose who can post, and the best suggestions naturally rise to the top.

Great ideas are usually already in your community. Idea Board gives them a place to surface, get backed by others, and turn into a clear, ranked signal of what people actually want.

What is Idea Board?

idea upvote

Idea Board is a voting wall for suggestions. Members share an idea, the community upvotes, and the board ranks everything so priorities become obvious at a glance.

Post and upvote

Anyone in your community can share an idea with a title and description, and the whole community upvotes the ones they want most. One vote per person per idea keeps the ranking honest.

Sort and surface

Switch between Most voted, Least voted, Newest, and Oldest to see what matters right now. Popular ideas stay front and center, while fresh suggestions still get a chance to be seen.

You decide who posts

Choose whether everyone or only staff can submit ideas, while keeping voting open to all. Set a custom prompt, turn submissions on or off, and moderate entries to keep the board focused.

Why it matters

Idea Board is ideal for course requests, feature wishlists, community initiatives, and content suggestions. It replaces scattered messages with a single ranked list, so you always know what to build or teach next.
