Learning communities aren't built only around posts and discussions. Some of the most valuable interactions happen when people come together whether that's for a live workshop, a weekly office hour, a networking meetup, or an in-person event.

With Community Events, you can now create, organize, and manage these experiences directly inside Teachfloor.

Events have their own dedicated space within the Community, making it easy for members to discover what's happening, RSVP, join online sessions, and interact around each event without relying on a separate event platform.

Create Online or In-Person Events

Community Events can support both virtual and physical experiences.

For an online event, simply add the meeting, webinar, or livestream URL. Members can access it directly from the event page when it's time to join.

For in-person events, you can provide the physical location and use the event page as the central place for attendees to find all the information they need.

This makes Events useful for everything from virtual cohort sessions to local meetups and conferences.

One-Time Events or Recurring Series

Not every event happens just once.

You can create a single event for a workshop, guest session, webinar, or special meetup or create a recurring series for activities that happen regularly.

Recurring events can be configured around your schedule, including specific weekdays and an optional end date.

That makes it easy to run experiences such as:

• Weekly office hours
• Monthly community meetups
• Recurring coaching sessions
• Study groups
• Live Q&A sessions
• Regular workshops

Individual occurrences can also be edited without disrupting the rest of the series, giving you flexibility when plans change.

Everything Members Need in One Place

Every event gets its own page inside the Community.

Members can see the event description, date and time, host information, attendees, and joining details from a single place.

They can RSVP to let hosts know they're attending, see who else is joining, and participate in the conversation through comments before or after the event.

For online events, the joining link becomes available shortly before the session begins, keeping the entire experience connected to Teachfloor.

Keep Your Community Informed

Teachfloor helps make sure members don't miss upcoming events.

Automatic email reminders can be sent before an event starts, while timezone-aware scheduling ensures members see the correct event time regardless of where they are.

For recurring events, Teachfloor handles the series so you don't need to recreate the same event manually every week or month.

Events can have dedicated hosts, making it clear who is responsible for running each session.
