Manual Scoring in Instructor Review

Manual Scoring in Instructor Review

We’re excited to announce a new feature in the Instructor Review with Chat on Teachfloor: the ability to assign manual scores to student submissions during the review process

Key Features of Manual Scoring

  • Scoring Bar: Instructors can now assign scores from 0% to 100% using an intuitive scoring bar. This allows for quick and precise grading, ensuring that evaluations are both efficient and clear.
  • Integrated Feedback: Alongside the scoring feature, instructors can still engage in real-time discussions with students. This combination allows for a comprehensive review experience where learners can receive immediate feedback and a score for their work.

How to Use Manual Scoring

To utilize the manual scoring feature during your instructor reviews:

  1. Open the submission you want to assess in the Instructor Review with Chat.
  2. Use the scoring bar to select a score between 0% and 100% for the student’s submission.
  3. Continue the conversation in the chat to provide additional feedback or clarification related to the score.

This enhancement to the Instructor Review with Chat is designed to streamline the grading process while maintaining the interactive element of real-time feedback. We believe this feature will greatly benefit both instructors and learners by providing a more structured approach to assessments.
