Slack Community Integration

Slack Community Integration

We're pleased to announce the rollout of a new feature to enhance your Teachfloor experience: Slack Community Integration.

While Teachfloor already offers robust community features with channels and live chat, we recognize that many of our users have existing communities on Slack. To support those users, we've now made it possible to link directly to a Slack community from the Teachfloor dashboard.

Seamless Slack Access for Teachfloor Users:

This integration allows administrators to provide a direct link to their Slack community from the Teachfloor platform. It's an ideal solution for those who wish to continue leveraging their established Slack channels alongside Teachfloor's native community tools.

Simple Setup Process:

Integrating your Slack community with Teachfloor couldn't be easier:

  1. Go to 'Settings' > 'Integration' > 'Slack' within Teachfloor.
  2. Enter your Slack community link.
  3. Choose to display a custom name or the default 'Slack' brand name.

Dual Community Advantage:

  • Flexibility: Continue using Teachfloor’s built-in community features while also providing access to Slack for broader discussions.
  • Familiarity: For students and instructors already active on Slack, this integration provides a touch of familiarity and continuity.
  • Convenience: A direct link from Teachfloor to Slack streamlines navigation, saving time and simplifying communication.

Conclusion:

Our new Slack Community Integration reflects Teachfloor's dedication to creating an inclusive, versatile, and connected learning ecosystem. By providing a bridge to Slack communities, we aim to enrich the online education experience for both students and instructors who are accustomed to Slack's environment.

We’re excited for you to integrate and streamline your communication on Teachfloor.
